About Simon
Here’s some sporting background on Simon that you may find of interest:
- Has twice qualified for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships with an Ironman PB of 9:41
- He brought official Ironman racing to the UK at Llanberis in 2001 (BTA Race of the Year)
- Was one of the founders of the High5 sports nutrition brand
- Has raced numerous marathons with a PB of 2:41 and have recently started to enter ultras

What He Can Bring To Your Event?
Simon has great experience as an athlete, race organiser and brand ambassador to link your aspirations with those of your competitors, retailers, sponsors, partners and audience. He does this by:
- Aiming to name-check all competitors as they finish (and often during the race too!!)
- Conducting interviews with athletes, sponsors, partners and enthusiastic onlookers!
- Not ending the commentary service until the very last person has crossed the finish line
- Working with you on the pre-event ramp-up through to completion of the awards ceremony
- Introducing partner brands to support your event with spot prizes & momentos etc.
What’s the Cost?
Standard rates are £220 per day (exclusive of travel at cost). Simon is conveniently based in the Midlands just 3 miles from J25 of the M1 and dependent upon your location and requirements would be happy to quote fully inclusive event rates.
